King of Jordan: Our gathering today shows Iraq important role in the region

King of Jordan Abdullah II stressed on Saturday, that the meeting at Baghdad Con is an evidence of Iraq's central role.

"Iraq security and stability is the security and stability for all of us," said King of Jordan Abdullah ll in his speech during Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

He noted that "Iraq has been working hard for years to consolidate the state of constitution and law,”

"Supporting Iraq is a priority, and that today’s Baghdad meeting reflects our keenness on the rule of law and support for Iraq in its path," he stressed.

King Abdullah ll added that "Iraq is working hard to consolidate the rule of law and the supremacy of the constitution and stimulate the hopes and aspirations of its people,”

“We declare our support for Iraq's efforts to combat extremism and counter terrorism as well as, to promote territorial integrity and stability,”
