The Board of Trustees meets the Arab media delegation

    The Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network met today, Friday, with the Arab media delegation participating in the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, which will start tomorrow, Saturday.

    The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Jaafar Al-Wanan, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership is in addition to its goals set for it, but it will open wide horizons for the fourth authority between our country and the participating countries, especially as it comes in an important period that precedes the early legislative elections."

    Al-Wanan stressed the importance of permanent media coordination between Iraq and the countries participating in the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, in a way that contributes to shedding light on the joint and common interests in the media, including those related to confronting terrorism and advancing the economic, commercial, industrial and agricultural reality, and returning to the atmosphere of the language of sanity and peace in the discourse of the Fourth Authority. 

    The Arab delegations present, including the Egyptian, Jordanian and Turkish media delegation, extended their gratitude and thanks to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, A. Jaafar Al-Wanan for the kindness and generosity of the reception, valuing the role that the Iraqi Media Network presents as a moderate discourse that preserves the local internal cohesion and is consistent with the events and trends around it, Arab and global, expressing her happiness and admiration for Baghdad's return to the forefront in the media and culture and Iraq's active and influential regional role in the Arab arena.
