Iraq and Qatar discuss security and stability importance in the region

President of the Republic, Barham Salih, and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, stressed on Saturday, the importance of consolidating security and stability in the region.

This came via a phone call between President Salih and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, according to a statement by the media office of the President of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

During the phone call, they discussed the common fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen it in various fields to achieve the common interests of the two brotherly peoples.

Both discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern as the importance of consolidating security and stability throughout the region was emphasized.
