Two women were killed and about 30 others were injured by a thunderbolt in Yemen

Sources in the local authority in the Yemeni governorate of Dhamar reported to “Sputnik” that a lightning strike struck a house celebrating a wedding party for women in the village of Al-Aqmar in Mayfa’a Ans district, east of the governorate.
 
According to the sources, the accident resulted in the death of two women and the injury of about 30 others, one of whom is in serious condition, and they were transferred to a hospital in Dhamar city.
 
She added that another lightning strike injured 3 people when it struck their house in the village of Maram in the Mayfa’a Ans District itself.
 
Last Friday, a thunderbolt killed three people and injured three others while a group of people were on a tourist trip in the Thamad area of Jahaf district in Al-Dhalea governorate, central Yemen.
