The Emergency Committee of the World Health Organization confirmed on Thursday its opposition to the request for proof of receiving a vaccine for the prevention of the virus Corona emerging international travel amid growing controversy about preventing travelers if they have not received the vaccine yet.
The committee, composed of experts, said that "vaccines should not be the only condition for allowing international travel, given the limited international distribution of vaccines and the unfairness of their distribution in the first place."
Experts have previously said that the demand for proof of receiving the vaccine deepens inequality and reinforces the imbalance in the right to freedom of movement and travel.
