Nineveh Ops: Four infiltrators from Syria towards Iraqi territory

West Nineveh Operations Command arrested four infiltrators coming from Syrian territory towards Iraqi territory in the border district of Rabia.
 
"Detachments of the Military Intelligence Division 15th and the 2nd Regiment ground force, 71st Infantry Brigade, arrested a family of Arab nationality consisting of 4 members who tried to cross the Iraqi border from the Syrian side after a tight ambush was set up for them in the village of Al-Shaalan, which belongs to the Rabia district, adjacent to the border strip,” according to a statement by the Security Media Cell –SMC, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
The operation was carried out according to accurate information for one of the joints of the Military Intelligence Directorate in the Ministry of Defense - the Intelligence Department of West Nineveh Operations Command - which confirmed, after using thermal cameras, that there was a movement of several people on the Syrian side towards Iraqi territory, included the statement
