Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals, Manhal Aziz Al-Khabbaz, discussed with the Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Ali, implementing the cooperation agreements.
A statement by the Ministry of Industry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) on Monday stated that Minister of Industry and Minerals Munhel Aziz Al-Khabaz met Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Ali, and her accompanying delegation from the governmental and private sectors after arriving in Baghdad at dawn Monday on an official visit to Iraq in the attendance of the Jordanian Ambassador to Iraq and the Ministry's development adviser.
The statement added, The two sides discussed a number of common issues and ways to enhance cooperation and implement industrial integration projects between the two countries in sectors of common interest and in light of the decisions of the tripartite presidential summit, and the assurances of the leaders of the three countries of cooperation and economic integration, through the establishment of promising industrial projects that serve Iraqi and Jordanian peoples.
The statement indicated that the visit of the Jordanian delegation to Iraq comes within the framework of mutual visits and joint meetings of officials of both countries to consolidate bilateral relations and enhance economic and investment cooperation between Iraq and Jordan.
