Today, Sunday, the Governor of Dhi Qar, Ahmed Al-Khafaji, announced the approval of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to appoint about two thousand graduates from the province.
Al-Khafaji told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Kadhimi agreed to appoint two groups of graduates, the first includes one thousand and the second includes 850 graduates, and they will be appointed with a daily wages in the Ministry of Oil. During his visit to the province on 17 of last June, Al-Kadhimi held a meeting with a number of Dhi Qar demonstrators, including graduates. An official statement said that Al-Kadhimi affirmed during the meeting that the government set its sights on achieving the goal of economic development in the province, which provides job opportunities and a decent living for the people of the province and the rest of the demands of the demonstrating youth.
