Baghdad-INA
The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that there is no full curfew during the days of Eid Al-Adha, while indicating the possibility of carrying out daily activities normally if the health safety measures are followed correctly in terms of social distancing and wearing a face mask.
The Director of Public Health at the Ministry, Riyad Abdul Amir, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the ministry has not yet provided any recommendations to the Higher Committee for Health and Safety, affirming the difficulty in imposing the curfew, as it did not significantly affect the rate of injuries, pointing out the curfew is in the streets only, not in facilities that are experiencing large gatherings.
Abdul Amir stressed the need to adhere to preventive measures such as wearing a face mask and distancing, noting that if there is a commitment to preventive measures, it is possible to engage in all activities normally.
