Media Sources: a powerful blast thundered west of Tehran

Iranian state television reported on Saturday that a powerful explosion was heard west of the Iranian capital.
Iranian semi-official news agency (Fars) also reported that an explosion was heard in northern Tehran in the early hours of Saturday local time (Friday evening at GMT), without providing any further details.
We have received reports of hearing a big explosion in Tehran, therefore, the rescue and firefighting teams have been sent to the scene Jalal Maleki, the spokesman for the Tehran Fire Department said.
