Suspiciously high rate of corona infections in Iraq

    The Ministry of Health announced the epidemiological situation of the Corona pandemic today, Thursday, at the highest daily rate recorded by the country since the outbreak of the pandemic in February 2020.

    The ministry stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that it had "recorded 9,189 new cases of coronavirus, and 5,139 people recovered."

    The statement added, "The new deaths from corona reached 31 cases throughout the country's governorates," noting that "the people who received the vaccine within 24 hours amounted to 37,979," while the total of those who received anti-Corona vaccines reached 1001,180 people.
