A top brass delegation, headed by the Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant-General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, arrived in Anbar province.
The reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that a high-ranking security delegation headed by the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant-General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, arrived today in Anbar province."
He said that the delegation also included the commander of the ground forces, the commander of the border forces, the leader of military intelligence, the commander of the air force, the operation commander of popular mobilization forces, and senior leaders from all security services.
INA reporter also added that the purpose of the visit is to inspect the military units at the Ain al-Assad base and the border strip, and to oversee the implementation of security plans by al-Jazeera operations units.
