Directorate of Electricity Production - South Branch announced on Monday, the return of all electrical stations to work in Basra.
“The electric power production stations in Basra Governorate have all worked and are operating without any interruption," said Alaa Halim Jaber, a member of the administrative board of the directorate, in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"Despite the interruption and defect that occurred in the power transmission lines in the southern region, the Directorate of Electricity Production - South Branch does not have any problem,” he added.
He noted, “All stations have worked and operate 24 hours a day without any interruption or malfunction. All power production lines are working well and their electrical energy production is continuous,"
