Baghdad Operations Command announced on Saturday the opening of all streets of Hittin neighborhood in the Karkh side.
The Security Media Cell stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that in accordance with the directives of Baghdad Operations Commander, Maj. Gen. Ahmed Salim Bahjat, the engineering and technical staff at BOC began to raise the concrete blocks and open all streets of Hittin neighborhood area in Karkh side, west of the capital, Baghdad.
SMC also mentioned that this step comes within a practical and professional plan that aims to overcome obstacles, reducing the traffic in Karkh, and reducing the burden on citizens there.
BOC continue its relentless efforts to open all the closed roads during the next few days, after assessing the security situations to suits the need of the citizens and their security, SMC added.
