Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi called on all ministries to assist the Electoral Commission in carrying out its work.
The Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that Kadhimi chaired the twenty-fifth regular session of the Council of Ministers, during which he discussed a number of issues and developments in the country, as well as discussing topics included in the session's agenda.
Al-Kadhimi renewed at the beginning of the session, his previous directions to the ministers to work hard in order to create a stable electoral environment, and to create the appropriate atmospheres for holding elections without any obstacles and in a manner that ensures wide participation of voters, and also called on all ministries to exert their best efforts and help the Independent Electoral Commission to carry out its work." and perform its duties in a best way.
