A hot air balloon hit a power line and crashed onto a street in Albuquerque southwestern US, killing all five people on board, police said.
The incident cut off power for a few hours after the balloon hit an electric line.
Albuquerque police department tweeted: Unfortunately, 4 individuals died as a result of their wounds from the hot air balloon crash. A fifth person was transferred to a local hospital, and he is currently in a critical and unstable condition," before announcing his death from his injuries
the crash caused power outages for more than 13,000 people in the area, according to what the local electricity company wrote on their official Twitter account.
PNM, an electricity provider in the area, also indicated that the electrical fault was fixed and the current was restored to the people.
