Moscow: The increase in Corona injuries is likely due to new strains

The mayor of the Russian capital Moscow announced on Thursday that the corona virus spreads quickly and unexpectedly and that the city probably face new strains of the virus spread faster and more aggressive.

"Officials are steadily increasing the number of beds in Moscow hospitals to treat a possible influx of Covid-19 patients," Sergei Sobyanin said in televised comments.

He added that "the number of beds is sufficient for the time being."
