      Presidency of the Republic sent a draft law on Yazidi survivors to the House of Representatives for the purpose of discussion and approval.
    A statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that the draft law includes Yazidi women who were kidnapped by Daesh terrorist gangs after 10/6/2014 and they were liberated after that," noting, "The draft law aims to compensate the survivors." Financially and honestly, rehabilitating and take care of them, and securing a decent life for them, in addition to adopting the means to integrate survivors into society and rehabilitate the infrastructure of their areas.

    He added, the draft law that was sent to the House of Representatives on March 28, 2019 stipulates the establishment of a general directorate for the care of survivors' affairs, linked to the General Secretariat of Ministers Council, with its headquarters in Nineveh Governorate. and adequate housing to accommodate them, creating educational opportunities for survivors and their children, securing work and employment opportunities to enable them to achieve economic and social well-being, and opening health centers and clinics to treat and rehabilitate them psychologically, socially and professionally. The draft law stressed that "the perpetrators of the kidnapping and captivity of Yazidi women shall not be included in any general or special amnesty.
