    The Minister of Water Resources, Mahdi Rashid Al-Hamdani, announced today, Friday, an Iraqi-Turkish meeting in Ankara to discuss water releases.
    Al-Hamdani said, according to a statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that he "announces an upcoming technical meeting with the Turkish side in Ankara on the twenty-first of this month," noting that "the meeting will discuss water releases on the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and activating cooperation protocols in the field of water."
