The French Federation reveals Benzema's position against Germany match

The French Football Federation expected Karim Benzema, who suffered a knee injury, to participate in a friendly match last Tuesday, in the opening of France's campaign in Group F of the European Championship against Germany.

Benzema, who was injured in the world champion's 3-0 victory over Bulgaria, is training indoors and is expected to be ready to face Germany next Tuesday in Munich.

France will also face in Group F, Hungary, and Portugal, the defending champion.

The French national team is considered the biggest candidate to win the European Nations Cup 2020 (postponed), which opens its competition on Friday evening, with a confrontation between Italy and Turkey, and will continue for a whole month.

The tournament was supposed to be held in the summer of last year, but it was decided to postpone it for the current year due to the crisis of the Corona virus pandemic.
