Brazil records 88,092 injuries and 2,504 new deaths in Corona

The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced that it had recorded 88,092 new infections and 2,504 deaths from the Corona virus, which causes infection with "Covid-19".

And the ministry stated, in a daily statistic, that the number of recorded infections with the Corona virus “Covid-19” in the country during the past 24 hours increased by 88,092, compared to 85,748 on Wednesday, bringing the total number to about 17.211 million cases.

The ministry stated that it had monitored 2,504 new deaths from the disease, compared to 2,723 Wednesday, bringing the death toll from the pandemic in the country to 48,2019 people, with a lethality rate of 2.8%.

Brazil recorded the second largest death toll from the virus in the world after the United States, and the third highest number of infections after the United States and India, and in recent weeks it has faced sharp increases for both indicators.
