The Independent High Electoral Commission announced its readiness to conduct the three simulations of public and private voting, the first of which is scheduled to take place next July to ensure the accuracy and speed of electoral electronic devices, and the possibility of sending results easily from stations and receiving them by specialized staff in cooperation with the Korean company "Miro" and under the supervision of The German examiner company, in the presence of (UNAMI) and (IFES) teams .
IHEC stated, Sunday, during its weekly speech that the Iraqi News Agency (INA) received, that "the next simulation process will be conducted in one of the (1079) registration centers throughout Iraq, and it will be an actual voting process that will use a ballot papers designated for this purpose.
Its to be mentioned , that the IHEC works in accordance to Election Law No. (9) of 2020 Article 38 / third, which states (that the Board of Commissioners forms a committee from the technically competent government institutions to monitor and evaluate the examining company); Accordingly, the Board of Commissioners formed a committee headed by a member of the Board of Commissioners Judge (Ali Rashid Muhammad) and the membership of the specialized technical staff from the ministries of (Planning, Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Communications) and the National Intelligence Service, as well as the representative of the Kurdistan region, the committee held its meeting to discuss the tasks of the examining company and explaining the working mechanism of the devices for accelerating results and data transfer .
IHEC also indicated, "the completion of checking candidates' data and sending them to the relevant authorities to verify their eligibility and being non-affiliated to the armed forces or security services, in addition to the security authorities in the Kurdistan Region.
Earlier, IHEC confirmed its readiness to hold the elections on the 10th of next October.
