Malaysia on Monday unveiled a 40 billion ringgit ($9.7 billion) aid package to help individuals and companies during the two-week nationwide lockdown that is set to start on Tuesday.
And “Bloomberg” news agency quoted Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin as saying in a speech broadcast on television today, Monday, that the plan includes a financial payment of 5 billion ringgit First batch as a start.
"The package aims to strengthen the country's healthcare and support businesses," Yassin said
