Al-Halbousi confirms Iraq's firm position on the Palestinian issue

 Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi affirmed Iraq's firm stance on the Palestinian issue, and its support for all efforts to end Israeli violations. 

The media office of the Speaker of Parliament said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Al-Halbousi today received a call from his counterpart, Turkish Parliament Speaker Mustafa Shantoub. Between the two parliaments, to meet the challenges facing the region in order to achieve stability. " 

He added, "The communication discussed the Palestinian issue and its developments, and the two sides stressed the need to make all kinds of diplomatic efforts to end the occupying entity's attacks against the Palestinian people, and the importance of mobilizing international and Islamic parliaments to support the Palestinian cause." 

Al-Halbousi stressed, according to the statement, "Iraq's firm position on the Palestinian issue, and its support for all efforts that could end the attacks and violations against the Palestinian people."
