The Islamic Cooperation Organization condemned, today, Sunday, in the strongest terms the Israeli brutal attacks against the Palestinian people, while waving to head to the United Nations General Assembly.

In its extraordinary meeting held today, the organization said, "The Department of the Endowments of Jerusalem and the affairs of the Jordanian Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is the only authority authorized to manage all the affairs of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The organization adopted a resolution stressing the importance of the historical Hashemite guardianship over the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, and its role in protecting these sanctities and the existing legal and historical status in them and in preserving the Arab, Islamic and Christian identity of these sanctities.

The resolution also condemned the attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people, their land and holy sites, warning "Israel of the consequences of provoking the feelings of the Palestinian people and the entire Islamic nation by escalating its attacks on worshipers and impeding access to holy sites."

The resolution called for "Israel to put an end to all violations it commits, including its lack of respect for sacred things," expressing concern "about the acceleration of Israeli colonialism and the threat to evacuate hundreds of Palestinian families from their homes in occupied East Jerusalem by force, including families in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and neighborhood." .

It held "Israel fully responsible for the deterioration of the situation due to its systematic crimes against the Palestinian people in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, and the barbaric aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip."
