Under the auspices of the Minister of Youth and Sports Adnan Darjal, and in cooperation with the Arab Federation of Bow and Arrow, Iraq will host the Arab Bow and Arrow Championship for the period from the twenty-fourth to the thirty-first of this May in the capital, Baghdad, with the participation of 13 Arab teams.
A statement by the Ministry of Youth received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said today, Thursday, that “Minister Darajal pledged to provide his full support for the establishment of this championship,” indicating that “the ministry will use its efforts to make the championship a success in a manner that reflects the good reputation and image of Iraq in terms of organization and reception of the Arab brothers. The highest degree of coordination with the Iraqi Federation of Bow and Arrow. "
For his part, President of the Game Federation, Saad Al-Mashhadani, appreciated the great role played by the Minister of Youth and Sports in holding this tournament, adding: “We hope that the tournament will have a great positive impact on Iraq, as it will be different from all previous tournaments, as its results qualify for the Olympiad, which is held in Baghdad for the first time in the history of Iraqi sports. "
