Al-Halbousi: Iraq has adopted a policy of openness with KSA

    Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, confirmed today, Tuesday, that Iraq has adopted a policy of openness with its Arab depth.

    The media office of the Speaker of Parliament stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Halbousi received the Deputy Minister of Defense, Deputy Chairman of the Military Industries Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Khaled bin Salman and the official delegation accompanying him."

    The statement added, "The meeting discussed strengthening bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation between Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the economic, political and security fields."
    According to the statement, Al-Halbousi stressed, "Iraq adopts a policy of openness with its Arab depth, and strengthening cooperation at all levels," looking forward to "developing relations between the two brotherly countries, and achieving more coordination and joint cooperation, which will positively affect the two brotherly peoples."

    For his part, Prince Khalid bin Salman conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman to the Speaker of Parliament, pointing to the “depth of the joint ties between the two brotherly countries.”
    The Saudi Deputy Defense Minister affirmed that his country supports Iraq, both government and people, to achieve its stability, which is reflected in the stability of the region.
