The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities identified the reasons for the limited flow of tourists to Iraq, while confirming work to provide good conditions that help to overcome the difficulties facing tourism companies.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Imad Jassem, said in a special statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The entry of tourists to Iraq is not mainly related to the Ministry of Culture and the Tourism Authority, but also with the Ministry of Interior and other institutions."
He added, "The Ministry of Culture has an organizational keenness to follow up the presence and accommodation of tourists, in order to get out the bright side of Iraqi tourism," noting that "tourism has suffered throughout the past period and is still suffering from the absence of tourists."

Jassim added, "Work is currently underway in the directorates of tourist sites and tourism groups, which are two directorates of the Tourism Authority, in order to provide good conditions for tourists by following up on first-class hotels, and to overcome difficulties for tourism companies that sometimes object to some details related to their work." .
