MOE: The launch of the second international conference on e-learning

    The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced today, Friday, the launch of the second international conference on e-learning, while confirming that educational institutions have provided an environment for positive interaction through education mechanisms and have succeeded in enabling students to cross the crisis.

    The advisor to the Ministry of Education, Alaa Abdul-Hassan, said in his speech during the opening of the conference, which was held via a closed electronic circuit received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The Ministry of Education has taken into account since the beginning of the Corona crisis the global contexts and procedures in adapting details of health variables and maintaining the quality of education in Iraqi universities. ".

    He added that "educational institutions in Iraq have provided an environment for positive interaction through the mechanisms of teaching and learning and have succeeded in enabling students to cross the crisis and meet the academic requirements of the past year and the current year."
    The participants in the first session,  reviewed the achievement of the Iraqi universities in providing educational services and their continuity despite the pandemic conditions and working on a flexible policy that takes into account the scientific requirements In light of the mechanisms of blended education. ”

    For his part, the official of the UNESCO Regional Office in Beirut, Dr. Anas Buhilal, said that blended education solutions are a necessity in the pandemic phase to ensure quality education and achieve the United Nations sustainable development goals by supporting national education policies, developing and upgrading infrastructure and building capacity Institutional, developing the professional aspect, and enhancing the academic knowledge structure according to the pattern required by the integrated mechanisms.
