The chief Iranian negotiator and Deputy Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that the United States has shown its willingness to lift most of its sanctions on Tehran, but the Islamic Republic demands more.
Araghchi said, according to "Reuters" agency today, Friday: "Information was handed over to us from the American side that they are serious about their desire to return to the nuclear agreement, and have so far announced their readiness to lift the ban of their sanctions."
He added, "This American offer does not coincide with Tehran's viewpoint," adding, "Therefore, consultations will continue unless all our demands are met."
