Council of Ministers circulates its decision on the total curfew

    The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced today, Thursday, that the Council of Ministers circulated its decision regarding the total curfew for the period from 12-22 May, and the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, which it approved at its last session .

    The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The Council of Ministers circulated its decision to all concerned authorities regarding the total curfew (for the period from 12/5 to 22/5/2021) and the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, which it approved at its session. 
    The last ", indicating that" the decision stipulated the closure of malls, restaurants, cafeterias, cafes, cinemas, parks, event and wedding halls, swimming pools, massages, etc. "

    He added that "the council excluded from the ban the categories that must be moved during the days of the comprehensive ban (employees of the Ministry of Health, the security forces, and service departments), as well as pharmacies, foodstuff stores, fruit and vegetable stores, and bakeries, and allowing them to carry out their work until seven in the evening."

    He continued, "The decision stipulated the exception of citizens within the geographical area to take vaccines at the vaccination outlets in order to continue vaccinating the largest possible number of citizens and to ensure that the vaccine doses are taken on the dates fixed for them."

    The statement pointed out that "the recommendations approved by the Council of Ministers stressed the prevention of the establishment of human gatherings of all kinds, the suspension of public education in schools, institutes and colleges and making it electronically remotely, with the continuation of the validity of the decision of the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety, which includes excluding the ending stages exclusively, and for faculties of human medicine," And dentistry, and nursing with attendance studies (practical) two days a week only.
