Member of Parliament, Muthanna Amin, confirmed today, Friday, that Iraq is a bridge for rapprochement between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
Amin said in a statement to the news agency followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The conflicts between the countries of the region have been reflected on their peoples," indicating that "Iraq takes the role of bridging views between the two countries, which will reflect positively on the country in particular, and on the region and the region in general." .
He added that "Iraq constitutes a bridge between the two countries due to its geographical and political location and based on the national interest," stressing that "raising the strife between the two neighbors of Iraq is an important step for him."
He pointed out that "Tehran and Riyadh are ready to end the rivalry, and this opportunity must be seized to impose security in the region."
