The Higher Coordinating Committee of the Governorates confirmed that the ministries will submit their appeals regarding the budget to the Council of Ministers and will be discussed and submitted to the Federal Court.
The committee’s secretary, Kadhim al-Sahlani, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “There is a set of decisions and laws that are still in the process of studying the ministries, and they will be discussed in the Council of Ministers, and the ministries will present their appeals and visions on the budget, and thus unify the Iraqi government and submit to the Federal Court for appeal, whether regarding the issues that are concerned. It has a financial spree. "
He pointed out that "the government presented the budget at 170 trillion, and the budget approved 129 trillion, so these deductions came at the expense of important joints."
Earlier, the Council of Ministers authorized Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to challenge some budget provisions before the Federal Court .
