INA – BAGHDAD
Governor of Nineveh, Najim Al-Jubouri, announced on Wednesday, the completion of 3 bridges, while confirming that the Mosul airport file will be dealt with in the budget.
"Experts estimate that the province's financial losses due to the destruction of the infrastructure are estimated at a minimum of more than $15 billion, so what was allocated in the budget for this year is not enough to rebuild the province,” said Al-Jubouri to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
He explained that there are basic key cases addressed by the budget, such as Mosul Airport, which is a strategic project that will be dealt with by the French loan, in addition to large hospitals in Mosul, such as the Republic Hospital and Al-Khansa Hospital, as their reconstruction will depend on the Kuwaiti grant.
