MOFA reveals Iraq role to reduce regional tensions

Ministry of Foreign Affairs – MOFA confirmed that the region's security and stability are reflected in Iraq, and while it indicated that the presence of Iraq in the scene has become a site of initiative and construction.
 
“Proactive diplomacy is a method we devoted to, and it is not an option but a path that promotes Iraq's interests. MOFA is working very diligently to promote collective initiatives to enhance the security and stability of the region,” said a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
He pointed out that "the balance in foreign policy allows us to praise strategic interests, to restore the leading role of Iraq," noting that "the diversification of the economic gates of Iraq through the mobilization of the efforts of our embassies and missions abroad and by following up the departments of specialization in the center of the ministry yields high-level coordination results."
