The Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee revealed, today, Sunday, the next plan for the curfew, while indicating that the ban contributed to various issues, including pushing citizens to adhere to preventive measures.
Committee member Hassan Khatti told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The curfew has no direct relationship to breaking the chain of movement, but it has contributed to various issues, including preventing gatherings and pushing citizens towards adherence to preventive measures."
He added that "the ban had a major role in the first epidemic wave and effectively affected, but after Iraq entered the advanced stages and then the second wave, we notice that the effectiveness of the ban, whether comprehensive or partial, has decreased and is not of the same effect." It has the Ministry of Health because there is no obligation to take preventive measures. "
