Ministry of Education - MOE confirmed on Monday, that it had obtained the approval of the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety to allow a number of academic stages to attend classes.
A ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that the school hours will be for (1st, 2nd and 3rd) primary grades in addition to the final grades (sixth primary, third intermediate, sixth secondary), for two days a week.
“The continuation of the remaining grades will be electronic, as this decision comes to preserve the sobriety of education while continuing to adhere to preventive health measures,” included the statement.
The Ministry stressed, according to its statement, that private schools must adhere to the time limit for working days, as the leave time for schools in violation of these directives will be canceled.
