Russia announced that the Joint Committee on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, known as the Iran Nuclear Agreement, had expressed its satisfaction over the "initial progress" made by experts working in Vienna in an effort to revive the deal.
Russia's permanent representative to international institutions in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, confirmed on his Twitter account today, Friday, that the meeting held by the Joint Committee in the Austrian capital in Vienna had been concluded.
He continued: "The parties to the JCPOA reviewed the results of the work performed by the experts during the last three days, and expressed their satisfaction at the initial progress that has been achieved."
The Russian diplomat said that the joint committee will hold a new meeting next week in an effort to "consolidate this positive momentum."
