Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mustafa Ghaleb, discussed today, Tuesday, with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jeanine Hennis Blasshardt, the financial and economic conditions in Iraq.
A statement issued by the Central Bank received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the governor of the Central Bank, Mustafa Ghaleb, received the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Hennes Plasschaert ."
The statement added that "the governor discussed during the meeting the financial and economic conditions that Iraq is going through and the measures that the management of this bank leads within the reform plan for the Iraqi banking sector."
