Al-Halbousi meets Russia and Turkish ambassadors to Iraq

Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi, the Russian Ambassador to Iraq Maxim Maximov and Turkey's Fatih Yildiz, discussed strengthening joint cooperation, on Sunday.

"Al-Halbousi met the two ambassadors in separate meetings on the occasion of the end of their duties in Iraq." according to a statement by Al-Halbousi media office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA). 

Al-Halbousi expressed his appreciation for the efforts made during their tenure, wishing them success in their new duties.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, strengthening means of cooperation in accordance with mutual interests, and a number of issues of common interest.
