The Finance Committee revealed today, Friday the inclusion of a number of important paragraphs in the 2021 budget.
A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Mahasin Muhammadun, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The meeting held today in the House of Representatives and in the presence of the Finance Committee was heard during which the requests of the representatives regarding the rights of citizens were heard."
He pointed out that "these requests included confirming contract employees at the Ministry of Electricity in the budget after more than ten years have passed on them," noting that "the committee asked the Ministry of Electricity to determine the differences in salaries between contracts and owners for these and made it clear that the amounts they need are six billion dinars annually.”.
The committee indicated that "they can be benefited from through the creation of job grades by the Ministry of Finance or the Prime Minister," explaining that "it has also been requested to include those whose contracts have been canceled and are few in number and who were included in the budget last year, but it was not implemented, as well as fixing the daily procedure, especially in the areas that were made separate them ,explained that the disagreement over the region is still continuing and that the dispute is over the quantities that must be delivered to the center of oil, which have been identified as 460,000 barrels per day, not 250,000 barrels as provided by the government in the budget.
