The Ministry of Health and Environment evacuated today, Friday, a new batch of Iraqi patients for treatment in Turkey.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the director of the recruitment and medical evacuation department in the ministry, Riad Shaltag Nayel, said, "This evacuation comes in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Health and Environment Hassan Al-Tamimi to provide the best medical and treatment services for complex disease cases that are difficult to conduct inside Iraq now, and to create an opportunity." Suitable treatment for them in the best foreign hospitals. "
He added, "The Ministry continues to provide treatment opportunities for patients who are difficult to treat inside Iraq through the recruitment of foreign medical teams or through the evacuation of complex disease cases that are difficult to treat inside Iraq, and their inclusion in the medical recruitment and evacuation program according to the lists specified by the medical advisory committees of the Ministry of Health." He pointed out that "the completion of all procedures for evacuating a new batch of Iraqi patients, along with their companions, to Turkish hospitals."
