PM directs to investigate corrupted military personnel

    INA - Baghdad The Prime Minister Haider Abadi issued his directions to form investigative committee with the security ministries and apparatus personnel charged with corruption and blackmail cases against citizens. A statement issued by the Permanent Central Investigative Committee mentioned that Abadi directed to form the committee to take over the mission of investigation on such cases to maintain law’s sanctity and keeping triumph spirits achieved by the armed forces and security apparatus sacrifices. The direction came within the anti corruption efforts, and protecting the military and security apparatus performance and reputation, and responding to all complaints and overrides reported by citizens, the statment concluded.   Translated by Baha Salaman
