Oil Minister Ihssan Abdel Jabbar Ismail announced Today, Thursday, an agreement with Russia to supply one million doses of Sputnik as an urgent shipment to be sent to Iraq within two weeks from the date of signing.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Ismail said, "The shipment represents the first batch of quantities that have been agreed upon to be prepared according to schedules to be agreed upon later."
He added, "The agreement stipulates that the Russian Investment Fund will train a number of specialized medical teams from the Iraqi provinces in order to be familiar with how to use this vaccine."
