The Ministry of Oil revealed today, Sunday, that it has prepared plans to implement new gas production projects, to contribute to filling a large part of the country's need for this important substance.
The Undersecretary for Distribution Affairs, Hamid Yunus, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The ministry has prepared new plans to invest associated gas and free gas through implementing projects to produce this strategic and important material."
He explained that "the quantities of gas currently invested reach more than one thousand five hundred million metric meters per day, indicating that among the projects that will be implemented are the Artawi gas fields project, which will produce approximately four hundred million standard cubic feet, and the project for gas investment in the provinces of Dhi Qar and Maysan, which is It will contribute to the production of more than five hundred million standard cubic liters. "
