Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi discussed with the Japanese Ambassador to Iraq Suzuki Cutor, rebuilding infrastructure and energy projects.
During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop it, cooperation in the field of investment and infrastructure reconstruction projects and energy projects, as well as benefiting from Japanese expertise, according to a statement by media office of Al- Halbousi received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The meeting also discussed strengthening efforts, IDPs return to their areas where Al-Halbousi praised Japan's stances in supporting Iraq.
For his part, the Japanese ambassador affirmed, "his country's support for Iraq, and the desire to continue and enhance cooperation between the two countries in all fields, to achieve development and stability,”
