The Electoral Commission announced today, Tuesday that it has come a long way in the biometric voter registration and distribution of the biometric voter card.
A statement of the Commission received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that it is “working hard to secure the requirements for the process of updating the voter register,” indicating that “the Board of Commissioners approved the system of accreditation of local and international election observers, and the system of agents of candidates, parties, alliances and campaigns.”
The commission confirmed that it "made great strides in the biometric voter registration and distribution of the biometric voter card," indicating that it is working hard to secure the requirements of the voter registry update process.
