INA - Baghdad Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) rejected the idea of imposing a siege on any country for the people are the only part to be harmed by it. “Iran has many positive memories and stands with Iraq during the crisis,” MOFA stated on Wednesday. The statement included, “Any harm caused to any country will effect on the whole area accordingly,” MOFA called on the international community to exert a pressure on the USA to stop these sanctions for it will also be harmful to Iraq as well.
