Ministry of Immigration and Displacement announced today, Thursday the launch of the ninth round of the one and a half million dinars grant for 2,600 families returning from displacement to their original areas of residence.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the ministry affirmed its keenness to distribute the grants provided to the beneficiaries of the returning families, confirming "the launch of a return grant for families returning from emergency displacement, with a limited number due to the failure to approve the budget for this year."
The ministry indicated, "its intention to distribute grants to all returning families after obtaining sufficient funds and approving the budget during the next year," explaining that "launching financial grants for displaced families comes within the efforts made by the Ministry to reduce the suffering of those affected, improve their conditions and draw attention to their critical circumstances."
