The Ministry of Immigration and Displacement announced today, Tuesday, the launch of the tenth round of return grants amounting to one and a half million dinars for each family returning from emergency displacement to their original areas of residence.

In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Minister of Immigration and Displacement Evan Faeq Jabro confirmed, "The ministry's keenness to distribute the grants offered to those who deserve it from returning families," referring to the "launch of the tenth batch of grants of return, amounting to one and a half million dinars for each family returning from displacement to The areas of their original residence, and through the electronic key-card outlets.”

She added, "The batch included (2,600) families returning from emergency displacement to their original areas, and that this limited number of those covered by the grant came as a result of the failure to approve the budget for this year and the lack of financial allocations."

Jabro pointed out that "the number of beneficiaries of the grant is about two thousand and 600 returning families, and that the names have been announced through the ministry’s website and social media pages approved by the ministry to include all returning families in all governorates of the country."
